In this episode, I interview Ryan Mink, a former law enforcement officer and Combat Veteran, who is now a financial planner, focusing on first responder families. To say he's made quite the transition would be an understatement.
Like many of us in the field though, things started to change for Ryan with the politicalization of the job, the increased liability, and the steady decline in morale. He mentioned an all to common feeling of, "I love the job itself and the purpose, but all the other things around it..."
Ryan now serves his community in an entirely different way, but feels that sense of purpose again. He now works at a firm called 3 Creeks Capital and can be found on their site or LinkedIn at Ryan Mink, if you would like to personally connect with him.
I want to thank Ryan for not only his service to our great nation, but also to his Ohio community and now his first responder community, and for being willing to share his story to help others in similar situations.
