Now are you ready to hold on tight, put on your comfies and
get ready to be taken all around the world?
It was all due to a chance conversation with her French
teacher at school that Anna Elshafei decided to study Chinese. Little did Anna
know this decision wouldn’t just take her to China but all around over the
glove, she’d marry an Egyptian and she would forever have a sense of adventure.
Years later while working as a construction lawyer Anna
couldn’t find any slippers she wanted to wear when she was at home entertaining
friends and she didn’t want to wear heels (I mean who does?). So, using the
same sense of adventure and bravery Anna created her own. Her designs are now
sold all over and she’s excited to know where this new adventure will take her
next.
In this conversation we talk about what it’s really like to
start your own business when you have absolutely no idea what to do. Anna also
gives some really helpful and practical advice about how to begin a next
chapter if you’re stuck in a job you don’t like, but can’t afford to leave.
Anna is open, honest and incredibly supportive. She believes
life is just too short to be unhappy and she will encourage anyone to just take
that first step (especially if wearing fine slippers).
