Episode 48—The Story of Valentine's Day

It’s hard not to notice that Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us. Every year the retailers bombard us with candy, cards, and heart shaped chocolates boxes. But it begs the question, what has any of that to do with the real man named Valentine?  I’ll answer that today in an audiobook lesson from The Mystery of History Volume II.  I hope you’ll gather the children around to listen to this true story from medieval times. (Since there’s mention of martyrdom, you may want to prescreen it for your little ones.)
