Interview: The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach

As the guitar-playing and singing half of the acclaimed Akron, Ohio blues-rock duo The Black Keys (which also includes drummer Pat Carney), Dan Auerbach strives to make music that is real. "That's the only stuff that lasts," he says matter-of-factly. The Black Keys have issued a string of widely - and wildly - praised, unruly albums (2008's Danger Mouse-produced Attack & Release was a commercial breakthrough) and now Auerbach has recorded a raw and moody solo album called Keep It Hid.
