Doctors’ appointment was a mixed bag today. Weight down slightly, cholesterol is up, blood pressure is down, glucose A1C is up again. Discussed the weight loss by going off metformin…doctor said no. I told her that while on it and cutting 85% of carbs and sugars, my weight went from 223 to almost 250. I stopped the metformin about 50 days ago and am back down to 235. She switched me from Bydureon now to Ozempic to see if that might help my metabolic syndrome. Oil change and transmission flush after all that was done…and they tell me my CV joint boot is worn and the entire CV joint needs replacing. Weird they didn’t see that when the power steering was getting fixed!
