We're Minnah and Jacob, the movie mensches! It's nice to meet you.

Join us as we watch Jewish movies, new and old,  to create a Canon of 10 Jewish films that reflect a diverse and modern Jewish life in America. As film lovers we are familiar with the classic list (AFI, Sight & Sound) but want to create a list more representative of their experiences and generation. Every week we will discuss films with  Jewish themes, actors, settings, and filmmakers and ask the question, "does this belong in the canon?"
