Meditation for surrendering to yourself

Sun Tzu said Know yourself and you will win all battles.What Sun Tzu forgot to mention, is that in order to know yourself, you have to surrender to yourself.
By surrender I do not mean give up, I mean give in. As defined by our good friend Webster,  Surrender as a Verb - is to yield to the power, control, or possession of another upon compulsion or demandthe action of yielding one's person or giving up the possession of something especially into the power of another
But in religon and spirtuality, Surrender has an entirely different meaning.To surrender in spirituality and religion means that a believer completely gives up his own will and subjects his thoughts, ideas, and deeds to the will and teachings of a higher power.That is the type of Surrender, we are talking about. As we need to Surrender, or have total faith in the universe and ourselves. In short we need to surrender our thoughts to ourselves.We have to surrender to ourselves and the universe.
