God Is Love

“ A spiritual and saving knowledge of God is the greatest need of every human creature.”

Jeremiah 9:23&24 says, “ Thus says the Lord, “Let not a wise man boast in his wisdom, and let not the mighty boast of his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness on the earth; for I delight in these things declares the Lord.” 

This morning we are looking one of the Attributes of God – Who He is, His nature, His Character… 

God is Incomprehensible, God is Self-Existent & Self-Sufficient, God Never Changes, God is Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, God is Sovereign, God is Holy, Faithful, Just… Next week also in 1 John we see that “God is Light”

…and we will  see this morning in 1 John 4: 7 -21, that “God is Love”…

Our view of Him will directly affect how we view everything else.
