A lot of us rush through life, living at 200 mph.
The race starts as soon as we wake up. We barely open our eyes and thoughts about all we have to do that day start competing for our attention. Throughout the day, we juggle, organise, hurry, coordinate, achieve, and deliver.
We go to bed at night exhausted, and often feeling like there wasn’t much joy in our day.
The trouble is, when we run through life, we miss out on all these tiny opportunities for joy. There may be dotted along the path, but we go so fast that we don’t see them. And without seeing them, we can’t enjoy them.
