**Warning - this episode contains references to self-harm and intrusive thoughts**
After the birth of Milli’s second child in 2018, she faced her own battle with mental health, requiring over two years of psychiatric treatment. That experience changed everything and ignited her passion for maternal mental health ,driving her to ensure that no woman has to struggle alone.
As a co-founder of a social enterprise, she dedicates her work to supporting women through pregnancy and beyond, helping them safeguard their emotional well-being and prevent mental health crises. Drawing from both lived experience and professional knowledge, she advocates for better support systems, breaking down of stigma, and creation of safe spaces where women can access the help they deserve.
Milli believes that every woman should feel heard, supported, and empowered in her journey through motherhood, shouts loudly and proudly about it and is make vast steps forward with Motherly Love.

It would mean so much if you enjoy this episode if you hit FOLLOW / SUBSCRIBE for a regular dose of messy chats.
Holding conversations that highlight how inherently messy we are as humans, can hopefully alleviate some of that pressure we put on ourselves to have it all 'sorted', both in our physical and mental spaces.
We all had to learn 'order' and subsequently, must discern how and when to let go of it.
On this show, we put mess in perspective: it's the process of trying, failing, changing and evolving.
