Holding conversations that highlight how inherently messy we are as humans, can hopefully alleviate some of that pressure we put on ourselves to have it all 'sorted', both in our physical and mental spaces.
We all had to learn 'order' and subsequently, must discern how and when to let go of it.
On this show, we put mess in perspective: it's the process of trying, failing, changing and evolving.

Both life and the mind can be very messy, which doesn't mean you're doing anything 'wrong', in my opinion.
On this inaugural episode of The Mess We're In podcast, I talk to stand up comedian, broadcaster and actor Kelly Ford.

Kelly and I actually discovered one another and became friends through the shared grief of losing our mums early in our and their lives.
We had a wonderful frank live discussion in the online space a year or so ago, about our motherhood journeys, some challenges we've faced, the mess our minds can get into and how we work to make the most of life, so I felt she would be an incredible voice to launch this podcast with.
Kelly speaks beautifully, openly and hilariously, in her inimitable light hearted manner, about how she experiences and copes with mess in her life across the board: with her children , mentally and in contentious work scenarios!
Kelly will be on tour across the UK in 2025 , be sure to follow her at @iamkellyford
