Eliminating Disparities in Marrow Transplants: A Conversation with Dr. Steven Devine, Chief Medical Officer, Be The Match

The likelihood of finding a blood or bone marrow donor varies greatly based on race: white patients have a 75-80% chance of finding a donor, while that number falls to just 25-30% for black patients. That disparity is something Be The Match is working to eliminate in order to help all patients have equitable access to transplants.
