Kate Purcell (O35) from Dublin, who runs with Raheny Shamrock AC just won the World Masters Mountain Championships. Her pedigree in this discipline shone through as she's a previous team bronze medallist from the World Senior Championships and speaks of it as 'a pure form of running' that takes you to amazing places. She also outlines the reasons why she believes she's running so well now & speaks so succinctly on her return to running after 2 children and the importance of personal time like going for 'my run,' not just a run. She's currently training for The Dublin Marathon.
