Dealing With Online Trolls and Life After Love Island with Alex Beattie

Online trolling can have a bigger impact than you can ever imagine. Words are just as powerful as actions in cyberspace. And when you’ve been on reality TV, the comments can be even more harsh. 

We catch up with Alex Beattie, one of the contestants who got far on ITV’s biggest reality hit show Love Island. They talk how being on the show exposed him to all kinds of abuse and negativity, and how he’s overcome that to become a successful fitness expert and entrepreneur. They also talk about the suicides of the former contestants, which have cast a cloud over the show and the aftercare of contestants who go in the villa.
