32. The Ghost in Dolly’s Attic

In a quiet Los Angeles neighbourhood, a brutal and baffling crime is discovered. A businessman is dead, having been shot three times. The only other person in the house is his wife, but she is trapped in a closet that has been locked from the outside. However, neighbours report hearing strange noises coming from the property, shadows passing before its windows and ghostly scratching emanating from the attic. So was this a robbery gone wrong or a fatal haunting… or might there be another explanation for this very mystifying murder?
