The Electric State (2025)

This Netflix Original film was directed by Anthony & Joe Russo, based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Simon Stalenhag and stars Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Giacarlo Esposito & Stanley Tucci. This film also has a voice over cast that includes Woody Harrelson, Jenny Slate, Brian Cox & Anthony Mackie. In this film, set in an alternate 1994, humans & machines live among each other. First, as allies but later as enemies and then machines become outlawed. However, when a young girl befriends a strange robot, the adventure to uncover a terrible government secret begins. This film debuted on Netflix on March 14th, 2025 after a special theatrical release back in February 2025.
