Superman (2025)

This film was written and directed by James Gunn and is the first film in the DC Universe. The film stars David Corenswet as the title character alongside Rachel Bronsnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Nathan Fillion, Isabelle Merced & Edi Gathegi. In this film, the meta human known as “Superman” is involved with 2 rival countries on the brink of war but is criticized for saving the innocent but going against our country’s interests and is soon the target of billionaire businessman, Lex Luthor’s nefarious plan for world domination. This film marks the 3rd reboot in the “Superman” film series following 2006’s “Superman Returns” & 2013’s “Man of Steel”. DC has confirmed that this film is the first chapter in their new cinematic universe which is named after a comic book storyline, “Gods & Monsters”.
