Nosferatu (2024)

Robert Eggers writes & directs this gothic horror film that is based on Bram Stroker’s original 1897 novel, “Dracula” and is a remake of the 1922 silent film, “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror”. The film stars Bill Skarsgard, Lily Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Emma Corrin & Wilem Dafoe. In this film, set in the 1830s, a young realtor is sent to an old mansion in order to sell the property. However, little does he know that the buyer is a demonic creature that is forever cursed to walk the Earth as a vampire. This film had been in production since 2015 and was a passion project for Eggers but delayed the film until 2022. The film hit theaters on Christmas Day in 2024 and went on to become the highest grossing film in Eggers’ career.
