It was a lot of fun chatting with Cata. The way she talks about our inner-child, being able to play, exploring the limits of her physical capabilities and her body’s full potential and even seeing the world as a playground is truly inspiring.

But sure, what’s inspiring for some might only land on thought-provoking for others, but when Cata dives into the lost art of having hobbies and making friends in fun places, friends whose company we can enjoy perfectly well without discussion of careers or responsibilities, I’ll challenge any ‘grown-up’ out there not to think back to the ‘good old days’ and wonder how and when we made life so complicated.

But this episode is about so much more than just finding ourselves, it’s about finding our tribe, finding our communities, and the notion that communities of like-minded people that come together for the sheer enjoyment of an activity seem to be society’s last bastions for finding true encouragement, unconditional support and a feeling that I think all of us truly long for of feeling uplifted.
