Episode 09: Col Trixta

COL TRIXTA started his foray into dance music in 1993 where he became hugely popular in the rave scene under the name VINYLTRIXTA. Not content with co-owning the Hardcore record shop, REMIX RECORDS in Camden he set out to establish himself as a Dj playing for the like's of Labrynth, Hardcore Heaven Teenrage, Diehard & The Dream All nighters to name but a few,playing alongside name's such as Slipmatt, Nicky Blackmarket, Dj Vibes Ray Keith Dj Sy Mickey Finn The Rat Pack Tom Thumb Etc Etc Etc!! After cracking the club circuit he began to play for some of the biggest promoters across the UK Inc. Dreamscape, Helter Skelter Raindance, United Dance,Slammin Vinyl & Rezurrection. With his unique style of mixing & scratching it wasn't long before bookings started flooding in from all over the world and his DJ Talents took him to countries like Canada, Singapore America Austrilia Hong Kong and most of Europe including playing at the Berlin Love Parade & many trips to Ibiza. In 1997 he secured a slot on London's Dream Fm on Sunday afternoons 4-6.
