The Bible, Part 2 // A Grand Story

 Pastor Luke explains the importance of understanding the Bible as one cohesive story, not disconnected stories. He uses the story of Jesus appearing to the disciples on the road to Emmaus to demonstrate how the entire Bible points to Jesus and God's plan for salvation. He encourages the congregation to read the Bible with a focus on understanding God's character and the larger narrative of His work throughout history. He challenges them to avoid being co-opted by other ideologies and invites them to participate in a 21-day fast to redirect attention to the Word of God. The sermon concludes with a reminder of the future hope of seeing Jesus face to face and living in light of eternity.
