We’re diving right back in and starting with a Hoa Prologue. It’s not a long prologue, but we talk about it for quite a while because there are so many truths that N.K. Jemisin is revealing. It’s so good—we got goosebumps.

Essun is recovering from her brutal fight that closed out The Obelisk Gate, and Nassun is forced into a brutal fight of her own. There are still things that even Nassun must look away from.
