In this last episode of our series on Christian mission work, we explore what it means that “all authority in heaven and on earth” was given to the risen Christ (Matthew 28: 18 - 20). What does this look like? What does a conquering, victorious god look like, in all his glory? In Jesus it looks like what Christians called “good Friday”: It looks like him dying on the cross. In him, everything has been turned upside down and inside out. The lion has become the lamb…
