It's Monday, May 18th, and we have the joy of welcoming Emma and Matthias who are currently priests in the congregation in Denver, Colorado. They are also married (!) and share out of their work together serving Christ-Community.
We hear about their experiences of a trip to New Mexico right in the middle of the 'lockdown' moment of the pandemic, including a first experience of celebrating the communion service in someone's home. We also hear about the special quality of independence and freedom that lives an ethos in the West and how that has a place in Christ-centered leadership. How does Christ 'leave us free' and care for us beyond our imagination?
Thanks to you both for joining us this week!
