It's Wednesday, May 13th and we are delighted to share with you some of the art the Kennedy children have been creating this Easter. This includes two songs and the following images.
The first image is created by Gwendolyn and captures the whole mystery of Easter:
Selecting an old, dried-out piece of wood, she placed these radiant sun blossoms from the dandelion plant in such a way that you feel the whole victory of life over death.
This next image shows the 'realization' that our eldest, Maeve, had about the world:
It says, "The Wold is Sufering the Sikness of Misonderstaning" (original spelling). First, the bright, clear lettering of the statement and then the rich representation, artistically, of misunderstanding: the scribbles and chaos, the dark lines, the sharp curves. But it is all made hopeful by the sign below it: the rainbow 'bridge'.
May these be a blessing for you or, at least, bring a smile to your face.
Special thanks, again, to Elliott Chamberlin who composed the opening music, "Seeking Together" and the composition at the end, "Water of Life"; thanks - as always - to Jeana Lee, who soon will have so many new skills she can make good money on the side!
