It's Monday, April 27th, but it's already Tuesday in Australia!
Today, we have a conversation with Rev. Lisa Devine from the congregation in Sydney, Australia. Lisa and Patrick explore the spiritual distance that has been revealed through the Pandemic and the powerful challenges of truly, and very literally, 'loving your neighbors'. And the whole conversation turns towards what it means to be in life in such a way that Easter comes into our experience and into the world through us. As Lisa said in the conversation, "I don't know that we've been to such a deep place as this Easter."
Thanks so much, Lisa, for joining us this week!
Lisa is a core tutor for Steiner teacher trainees at Sydney Rudolf Steiner College, and is highly sought after around Australia as a speaker and facilitator in the areas of conflict resolution, child, inner and professional development – working out of the Anthroposophical impulse. She is a priest of The Christian Community, being the resident priest for the Sydney congregation.
Special thanks, of course, to Elliot Chamberlin who composed the opening music, "Seeking Together"; thanks also to Nathaniel and Abigail for the song, "By the Mark" at the end and to Jeana Lee for her growing skills at doing the 'engineering' for the episode.
