In this second episode of our series, Patrick and Jonah describe some of qualities and dynamics of light and dark that cast ”shadows” in and outside our beings. In the physical world, a shadow changes according to the quality of the light. Can we find the Light that simply yet powerfully reveals what is objectively so in our beings—without condemnation, yet fills us with the desire to be better, to do better? We can practice the work of seeing ourselves in the Light of Christ—who loves us no matter what, not in spite of our sin but through it, loving us towards something.
