Creative entrepreneurs can create more certainty and stability in their businesses by using forecasts and frameworks. 

A Financial Forecast: 

• look forward to the future 
• think through your future plans
• imagine various scenarios

A Financial Framework:

• a systematic way to plug in your numbers and see outcomes
• allows you to try various scenarios

Forecasts and frameworks give you the opportunity to ask:  Can I afford this? When can I afford it?

Looking at different scenarios helps us see what we need to do to achieve those results. For example, if you need to hit a certain revenue number then you can look at a variety of ways to do that and how each of them impacts that number. Understanding your numbers reduces anxiety about the future.

Using these tools helps you to ask a lot of questions and get a lot of answers so you can get the full cost pictures and choose wisely.
