There’s just one more hurdle before the election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris can be written in stone, and that’s the January 6 session of Congress when lawmakers officially tabulate the electoral college results by state.

While that usually is just a routine exercise that attracts little attention, this year that session is expected to be yet another chapter in Donald Trump’s sordid effort to overturn the election so he can remain as president – even though he lost the election.
