035. Leadership and How People Learn with Lee Prosenjak

💭 What can we possibly learn about leadership about the owner and director of a dance studio? It turns out to be a hell of a lot.

It starts with key questions like:

How do people learn? and how to apply that knowledge in the way that you lead teams and how to empower group development.

In this episode we are joined by the incredible Lee Prosenjak.  Lee is the owner and director of Cherry Creek Dance with his wife Stephanie and has the most amazing job title of "the guy that does everything but teach dance"

His motto is to "inspire people to find themselves through the creativity of art and dance"

Lee is also an igniter with the Simon Sinek organisation; COO and partner at Hesse Partners; and a Master Forum Trainer with Entrepreneurs Organization.

The common thread here is an incredible passion for helping people to discover their passions and in group development.

His work at Hesse Partners includes facilitation strategy sessions and retreats to foster group development in organisations.

Lee's experience has armed him with wonderful wisdom on group dynamics and a deep understanding of how people learn.  Unlike the power of fun and gamification; allowing childlike curiosity; and getting people to open up and talk things through are the most powerful ways for people to attain, retain and apply new knowledge.

Great leaders can tap into this knowledge of how people learn so they can build wonderfully empowered teams.
