20 Lessons for 2020

1.     Tragedy strikes. Disasters happen. Chaos occurs. Pain is real.

2.     When you get focused in life, good things begin to happen.

3.     The law of attraction is real. Ask the universe for what you want, express gratitude for what you have…and then wait. 

4.     Kindness and decency will always win out. 

5.     Sometimes you have to walk away from something good to make away for something great. 

6.     Relationships come and go. Enjoy the present. 

7.     Live life one day at a time. 

8.     When you lose focus or direction, get back on the path as fast as possible. 

9.     When you are open, you’ll be amazed at what life brings your direction. 

10.  Travel alone sometimes. You’ll be more open to the world around you. 

11.  There is power in meditation. 

12.  Journaling is a powerful and necessary tool for reflection. 

13.  Racism is not political. It needs to be addressed always and everywhere. 

14.  Racism does not end when the news cycle changes. 

15.  You will always upset someone. When possible, try make as many people as happy as possible… but always do the right thing. 

16.  Express gratitude in every situation and for every situation.

17.  Life will provide opportunities. The success of each opportunity is up to you. 

18.  Listen to feedback and do your best to grow from it. 

19.  You have absolute control over your mindset. (Improve your intakes, improve your mind.) 

20.  The price of greatness is pushing through anxiety.
