Devotional Message:
Scripture:
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV)
Message:
Walking by faith is choosing to trust God’s promises even when circumstances don’t make sense. Sight depends on what the natural eye can see, but faith depends on what God has said. The path God calls you to walk may not always be clear. There will be moments when logic says, “This is impossible,” but faith responds, “With God, all things are possible.”
Abraham left his homeland without knowing exactly where he was going because he trusted the One who gave the instruction. Peter stepped out of the boat onto the water because he fixed his eyes on Jesus. In both cases, the difference-maker was faith that acted on God’s word, not human understanding.
Walking by sight can lead to fear and hesitation, but walking by faith brings peace and confidence—even in uncertainty—because it rests on the unshakable character of God.
Reflection:
Am I living by what I see, or by what God has promised? Where in my life is God calling me to step forward in faith today?
Prayer:
Almighty Father, teach me to walk by faith and not be limited by what I see. Strengthen my trust in Your word and lead me in the path You have prepared for me. I choose to believe Your promises, knowing You will guide me every step. Amen.
