Devotional Message:
Scripture: “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” – Hebrews 11:6
Faith is more than just believing—it is a posture of trust that moves the heart of God. Faith draws His favour because it acknowledges His power, His goodness, and His faithfulness. When you stand in faith, you are declaring that God is greater than your circumstances and that His word is more reliable than what your eyes can see.
Abraham’s faith attracted God’s favour. Though he was old and childless, he believed God’s promise of becoming a father of many nations, and it was credited to him as righteousness. (Romans 4:20-22). His unwavering trust positioned him for divine favour that outlived him and blessed generations after him.
Faith that attracts favour is not passive—it acts. The woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd in faith and touched the hem of Jesus’ garment (Mark 5:27-29). Her faith drew God’s power, and she received instant healing.
When you choose to believe God’s promises despite the odds, you unlock supernatural doors. Favour follows those who walk by faith because faith makes room for God to show Himself strong.
Reflection: Is your faith bold enough to act on God’s promises even when the evidence looks contrary?
Prayer: Father, thank You for being a rewarder of those who diligently seek You. Strengthen my faith to believe beyond what I see and to trust fully in Your promises. May my faith draw Your favour, open doors of breakthrough, and glorify Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
