CLOTHED WITH A NEW IDENTITY

Scripture:
“Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.” – Colossians 3:10 (NLT)

Devotional Message:
In Christ, you are not defined by your past, your mistakes, or what others have labeled you. The moment you surrendered your life to Him, He clothed you with a new identity—one rooted in righteousness, grace, and sonship. You are no longer bound to shame or guilt; you are renewed, restored, and called to reflect His likeness.

Putting on this new identity is a daily choice. Just as we choose what to wear each morning, we must choose to “clothe” ourselves with truth, kindness, humility, and love, aligning our lives with the character of Christ. The more we know Him, the more we walk in who we truly are—beloved children of God.

Never let the enemy convince you otherwise. You are not who you used to be; you are a new creation in Christ. Stand boldly in your God-given identity and let your life testify of His transforming power.

Today, Ask Yourself:
Am I living in the fullness of my new identity in Christ, or am I still allowing my past to define me?

Prayer:
Almighty Father, thank You for clothing me with a new identity in Christ. Help me to walk daily in this truth, leaving behind the old and embracing the new. May my life reflect Your glory. Amen.
