When we were kids his wit and skating style were carefree and full of charisma. He was making people laugh when I met him in the 8th grade. We've crossed paths and chit-chatted shortly at shows we both worked at over the last decade, but I've been eager to have a long-form chat with Joe. This conversation didn't disappoint. Throughout the episode - Joseph Crumb and I discuss the importance of the Jester and Funny Philosopher in society, cancel culture, parody, jokes, why we have jokes, the importance of context, crowd, and timing.
