According to the Office for National Statistics The percentage of disposable income saved rose from 9.6% to 29.1% This was more than double the previous record of 14.4% set in 1993Clearly there are lots of people that have been impacted financially and emotionally by the Covid lockdown but despite some horrible events this last year, there are some positives and this could be that more people are looking at their income and outgoings and making changes. If you have been able to make savings during this time, what do you do with it when interest rates are so low?
