The John & Gordy Show is once again joined in the studio by Kathryn Lake, this time for a Dumpster Fire Friday. The trio kicks off the show with a weather forecast and a trip through the National Day Calendar, boy does the summer have a lot of days celebrating beer and ice cream!

After that, Gordy shares some of the events that are going on around the area this weekend. A fun tangent on tattoos occurs during this morning's segment of Health News, as well as sleep studies and drinking on a plane.

The hour wraps up with a clip John shares from a Texas police officer that was investigating librarians for books in their libraries.
