3 Nicole Kennedy How Cats Get You Through Tough Times

The heart of this episode features a discussion with Nicole Kennedy about her three cats, who serve as emotional therapists in fur coats, including her 26 pounder.  She had a pillow made with her cats' photos on it that she kept in the hospital with her for a 6 week stay and it opened a lot of connections and conversations to keep her sane.  She talked to a lot of people about cats including an art therapist, and Nicole painted a picture of her cat Kevin from a photo that they printed out.  The art therapy really helped her get through the tough time.
