It’s More than Just a Tattoo...

Chicago based tattoo & traditional artist, Louis Barak, joins the conversation to talk about how the world of tattooing has evolved and how more people of all walks of life are getting tattoos as a form of healing, remembrance, self-expression & creativity.  The culture has totally changed and is more respected as an actual art form that is a collaborative effort with client and artist. Louis talk about how his career and passion for art started when he was young and his influence by abstract art, graffiti, realism & surrealism.  Louis attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and received a degree in fine art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
