When Alexander Rossi, 24, won Indy 500, he could barely remember starting out in 33rd place. Dead last at the beginning of the five hundred mile race, Alex and strategist, racer and coach Bryan Herta planned and plotted a come back in real time --- and came out on top. 

A big year for the sport, it's 100th anniversary of the 500 -- and Alex, a rookie -- in his first podcast interview since winning, talks about the behind the scenes manuevers, the $2.5 million payout, the incredibly slight adjustments that are made throughout a race, the mind chatter and much more.
