Kate Collinger, Oprah's "Cheerios Girl" Talks Living With BiPolar Disorder

Kate Collinger is one of the 5+ million people who has bipolar 1
disorder. She was diagnosed at age 18, and she rose to being known
as the "Cheerios Girl" after an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey
Show, because of her mom's untimely death.

I found Kate's story of being diagnosed and institutionalized at
age 18, and her rugged honesty inspiring and hopeful for all of us
who suffer who know someone who is living with mental illness.

Thank you Kate. A beacon of light shining through the darkness
for sure.
