Excited to have Dave Patriarche on this episode of The Interesting People You Meet.
Dave is a well recognized name in the employee benefits industry and he developed his own one man shop in 1996 (Mainstay Insurance Brokerage). He specializes in dealing with clients that are small to medium size businesses in Toronto but has clients all over the country.
By developing his own brand and presence in the industry, Dave works strictly on referrals and does a fantastic job looking after his clients.
Dave is also the founder of the "Canadian Group Insurance Brokers" Association and has been passionately educating brokers on how to better serve their clients.
Outside of the benefits world, Dave is a sailor and has done many challenging journeys on his sailboat... one being a 2000 mile trip from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia all the way to Marigot, St. Martin. A trip that took him over 10 days without touching land.
On top of all this, Dave is an author. His book, "Selling Benefits - Lessons Learned, Voyages Travelled, Stories Shared" is a fantastic resource to not only benefits advisors, but also business owners. Be sure to check it out!
Thanks for listening!
