Your child enjoys sorting through and examining objects, exploring their characteristics and trying out what they do. They’re especially interesting if they are new or seen only at special times.

Today’s activity: Have a container your child can look at during special times. Put in some interesting things that open and shut, make noise, have different textures, etc. Use the box for a quiet, sitting time.
