A toy phone gives your child the chance to babble like they’re having a conversation.

Today’s activity: Use a toy phone to model saying, “Hello?” with rising intonation. Pass the phone back and forth, modeling a short comment on each turn. Don’t expect your child to use a specific word. They can babble like they’re having a conversation or use rising intonation like they are saying, “Hello?”
