How willing are you to get and remain uncomfortable? The answer to that question determines the level of wealth and success you'll create. You can either have growth or comfort. Yes indeed, growth is very uncomfortable. In order to create more wealth you must ask for more than you're comfortable asking, make more offers than you're comfortable making, and reach for new levels of uncertainty than you're comfortable reaching for.
The primary elements of this episode are:
- Comfort is the enemy of growth. People who desire to maintain physical, mental, and emotional comfort are settling for the circumstances they've already created.
- Growth requires stretching yourself to territories which are unfamiliar - and unfamiliar territory is uncomfortable territory.
- Train yourself to crave discomfort, and while most of society is trapped in comfort, you'll be able to create anything you want without quitting before you are successful.
