346: Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, Ready or Not and In-Game Ads

In episode 346, Austin is out of town so we invite Travis from our streams onto the podcast.  We review Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The gameplay is vastly improved, graphics are great but the multiplayer has some issues. We also play Ready or Not, a spiritual successor to Swat 4. We had a blast streaming this game and share some of our adventures playing Swat.

In the news, we talk about the upcoming battle royale mode for Halo Infinite, Fortnite’s Coachella and the Meta Quest Showcase.

Recently, Sony announced talk to include in-game ads in free-to-play games. It’s not confirmed, but it could be in the form of in-game billboards, ads during load screens and more. We explore how this could become a slippery slope to more ads in even paid games.
