256: Temtem, Mythic Quest and Board Games to Introduce to Your Friends

A new game is out now on Early Access called Temtem. It's basically Pokemon but it's an MMO with more challenging battle mechanics and a lot of quality of life improvements. Will it hold up to be a competitor to Pokemon? We also beat Luigi's Mansion 3 finally. Brett finishes Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet, a TV show all about what it's like to work inside a video game studio from the creators of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

In our news, Anthem is officially getting an overhaul, new details come on on Riot's new shooter and Activision Blizzard pulls out of Nvidia Geforce Now. The Playstation 5 is looking to be more expensive than the last one and Geoff Keighley pulls out of E3 2020.

In our discussion this week, we are excited to invite our special guest Amanda Bennett to the show! She is a friend of the podcast and an avid board game player. We dive into some of the games that she recommends introducing to your friends. We cover everything from party games to light strategy games.
