153: PAX South 2018, Dauntless and Dark Souls Remastered

We had quite a weekend at PAX South 2018 and in this podcast we share all the great moments of this awesome event in San Antonio. We had the opportunity to play a lot of games such as Phantom Doctrine, Pillars of Eternity 2, Donut County, Dauntless and much more!

In our news segment, we jump into the Nintendo Direct where they revealed Dark Souls Remastered and Mario Tennis Aces among others. Naturally Devan is excited about Dark Souls. We also delve into some CES 2018 announcements such as the HTC VIve Pro with full wireless capabilities and a new standalone VR headset from Google.

Our discussion topic is all about our experiences down in San Antonio at PAX. We talk about meeting the developers of Divinity Original Sin 2 and how awesome they are, the misconceptions about the Cold War from CreativeForge Games and what it's like to work with a guy who's making an awesome game like Tunic by himself.
