Indy In-Tune #019: State

This week marks a return to a cozy little bar at my alma mater in Bloomington, Indiana to meet up with the band State, a high-energy punk/pop/rock outfit fronted by veteran David Barajas (ex ). The band has been getting great reviews in most of the local trades for the last few years and has won several Best-Of editor and reader polls.
Despite some background noise issues and a shortened time frame to accommodate a sound check for a gig they were playing across the street at the Bluebird, the guys gave a funny and entertaining interview and shared some fantastic music from their impending CD release.
