• Completed the toughest footrace on earth - The Marathon Des Sables is six day, 251km (156 miles) Ultramarathon across the Sahara Desert
• Skied 250km across the largest plateau in the Arctic circle
• 22 years in the Royal Army Medical Corps as a Physiotherapy Officer Tour of Afghanistan.
